Above all, he was a noble human being.He was master in his work but was a common man for his associates.He lived for others and has distributed lots of love to his audience.All his films have carried some message,something meaningful. A common man has remained center point in all his creations.
His first film as producer,director was Aag - which was on the life of theatre artists.
His second film BARASAT was having a theme of platonic love and sexual desires.
His third film AWARA is based on impact of surroundings and social culture in upcoming of a child.
His film Aah has a message of divine love.
His greatest musical hit Shree 420 is on conflicts between good and bad in a society.How circumstances and evil elements makes an honest person, a cheater.Whereas, his Boot Polish is based on child labours and their struggle to live honest life.His JAGTE RAHO is a master piece creation on a life of educated unemployed youth and evil elements in the society.
