You can rant it or rave it but you simply cannot run away from the fact that Reema Sen is one of the few actresses who can make a bustle in the industry in no time. May it be a successful movie or a critical warrant from the court; she knows how to create something out of nothing.

With her attractive body and unique sultry gestures she never failed to attract masses to the theater. And this is exactly what directors wanted from her and she never failed to deliver. Many of the songs which featured her went on to become big all-time hits and so far she has acted against almost all top actors in south India.

Reema was born on 1981 in Kolkata in a middle class family. Like every middle class pretty face, she wanted to be in the movies and tried modeling first. She also appeared in a ‘Partners in Rhyme’ music video called ‘Chandni rateein’..

With her modeling and music video history, entry to the movies was a walk in the park for her. She made her debut with a Telugu film named ‘Chithram’. This was a low budget one. The film which brought her a real breakthrough was ‘Minnale’ which was a big hit.

After doing movies in both Tamil and Telugu, she knocked the doors of Bollywood with the movie ‘Hum ho gaye aapke’. The movie was a big flop and she had to restrain her Bollywood dreams with the crash landing of her debut movie. After this she focused mainly on Tamil movies and achieved decent success. She recently appeared on hit movies like ‘Rendu’ and ‘Vallavan’.

Back in 2006 she faced a critical warrant from a Tamil court for posing in an obscene manner along with Shilpa Shetty in a news paper.

She later issued comments on the incident and said that those pictures were “freeze-frame shots” from one of her recent movies. And said that she don’t see anything wrong with exposing one’s navel in public.

Reema did her schooling in Kolkata and just after this she moved to Mumbai. She joined a college in Mumbai for graduation but she never made it. It was from there she jumped into the movies and became what she is now.
