Reth Summary
Reth is the story of a young woman's fight to win back her honour after being gang raped. Jia was just another middle class bahu - quiet, accommodating, upholding family values above all - till one event changes everything for her. In order to save her unmarried sister-in-law from rape she throws herself before the rapists. While her marital family appreciates her sacrifice - they are unable to completely accept her back. 'RETH' traces Jia's difficult but courageous battle against the stigma - to emerge strong and stand tall in the face of a damning society
