Sandali Sinha comes from an Airforce background and has been brought up in the family of doctors and pilots. Sandali wanted to be a doctor herself but a brief exposure to the fashion world brought her in the world of modelling. She lost her father in a road accident. Her brother is a commercial pilot and her sister is a gynaecologist.

In a short period of time, Sandali became a very popular model. Fame first came to her with a Sonu Nigam music video of video called 'Deewana' which was directed by Anubhav Sinha. This music video took Sandali to her debut film 'Tum Bin,' directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced by Super Cassettes Industries Limited. Sandali loves modelling and though she has entered into tinsel world she will still keep in touch with modelling and fashion world.
